First, please note that parking is abysmal around here, even on Sunday, so I recommend travelling in groups or by T. Really, really abysmal. Our street typically has only a few available parking spots, so you may find it neccessary to park on nearby streets.

By T: Red Line to Davis Square

Take the Red Line to Davis Square. Head up Highland Street away from Davis -- you'll pass BankBoston on your right and Brooks Pharmacy on your left. Just after the second traffic light out, turn RIGHT ONTO Eastman Road, right after the little coffee shop on the right. 16 is up the hill on your left, a 3 story white house with lots of steps out front. Ring the bottom bell. Press firmly — it's flakey.

By Car:

The directions above work by car as well, except for a hundred yard section of Highland which is one-way the wrong way in the square. Get yourself onto Elm Street, then bear left at the fork, and turn left onto Cutter Ave. (Left turn on red is legal there!) Take a right at the T onto Highland Ave. Go through two traffic lights then take your first right onto Eastman Road. Landmark (sorta) is Cafe Rossini. If you pass the fire station, you've gone about fifty feet too far; if you pass the hospital, you've gone several blocks too far.
