Update: Monday, February 14, 2000

  • The Chronicle of the Twilight War has ended.

Of eight Mages involved in the Twilight Ascension War, two changed allegiance, and three died -- two at their own hands. One tenth of the population of the Boston metro area died, and world war III almost came to be.

The cost of war was, perhaps, too high.

  • The story of the last game is at the Mage players' page, and the tale of the Oracle's Chains.

Update: Thursday, December 16, 1999:

  • The Twilight War will continue a bit past the end of December. Game time is still mid- to late-November, and we decided we'd rather run a bit over schedule than end the game before it has had its full run. Probably another three play sessions left...

  • Technocracy supresses Mars Lander information.

Update: Friday, November 26, 1999:

Update: Saturday, November 20, 1999:

Update: Saturday, November 13, 1999:

  • The Kindred of the East game is NEXT WEEKEND. If you haven't got your character concept to ST Megan yet, do it now! She's got a hell of a game planned...
  • Hardly game related, but what the hell. The Cruxshadows have released a new single on It's good. Go download it. Tell everyone you know to download it. The server's a little slow -- give it a minute or two to come up. Once you're in, the download is fairly quick -- about 15kb/sec on my cable modem.

Update: Wednesday, November 3, 1999:

  • Check out Avon's Tales from the Ashes. Her comments:
When I was coming home from SCUBA diving this weekend I decided that I
wanted to write a story about a SCUBA diver. I was toying with ideas and
then I decided that I wanted to write it in the world of the Twilight War.
I figured I can always use an additional character to torture (since Rob
is going to do an admirable job of torturing Ali without my help....).
Anyway, I struck on an idea. I decided that I was going to write a series
of short character sketches of the survivors of the Boston fires. Well,
some of them anyway. All the characters will be non-supernaturals. As
Rob pointed out, any number of them could turn out to be my Hunter.
Anyway, the first of them is done (well, as done as any of my writing ever
is) and you can find it on the spiffy new "Tales from the Ashes" page.

Update: Monday, November 1, 1999:

  • The Twilight War will take a minor detour on its course, and next week will be running The Regrets of the Dead, a Wraith one-shot with heavy linkage to the Twilight War Mage game.

  • Just found out that Tim Burton is doing a television series based on the Oz books. This ought to be interesting... (I happen to think he's brilliant, so I'm biased.)

  • Another interesting tidbit: (Note: registration required at

  • According to White Wolf, Hunter: The Reckoning has shipped... (see below for notes on the sequel to the Jehovah Contract).

Update: Sunday, October 31, 1999:

  • Correction: Kindred of the East is not a one-shot. It will start with an extra-long game on a Saturday or Sunday, then have several more sessions before its end!

  • Happy Halloween!

Update: Thursday, October 28, 1999:

  • The Players' Page has moved to this server. The new URL is

Update: Wednesday, October 27, 1999:

  • A couple notes: The Mage game blew up part of Boston, the Changlings have gone jaunting around the world, the Kindred of the East has been dispatched to Boston to investigate recent happenings. See the Players' Page for recent events!

  • The Vampire, Werewolf, and Wraith games are effectively dead. Sorry...

  • Kindred of the East One Shot coming in November. Email Megan if interested.

  • [Hunter Cover] A Sequel is in the works! White Wolf has been kind enough to write the game I wanted to play: Hunter: The Reckoning. The game will start up on or about January 2000. Please email Rob if you are interested. The (as yet unnamed) sequel will feature NO player characters from The Jehovah Contract... at least, not as PCs...

  • [The Matrix Logo] Rob is also planning a Matrix game. Set in the world of The Matrix five or ten years after the coming of The One, you'll find the stakes of the war are much higher than you imagined... Check back here in coming weeks for more information!

Update: Monday, May 24, 1999:

  • Correction: Vampire game is slated to start in the second week of June, on either Monday, June 7 or Tuesday, June 8. Vampire is still accepting players, I think there are two slots open. Email Raven for details.

  • Sean's Players' Page has been updated with the most recent Twilight War (Mage) game summary.
  • Wraith game will be on! It will probably be running as a LARP (live action role playing) game this summer, running in the same continuity stream as The Jehovah Contract. Email Jason for details.
  • Still looking for a Werewolf ST...

Update: Monday, May 17, 1999:

  • Mage and Changling are both underway, and the Vampire game is slated to start by the end of the month. Vampire is accepting players.

  • We are currently seeking storytellers for Werewolf and Wraith, as the previous storytellers were forced to drop their plans. If you areinterested in running one of these, email Rob for the lowdown on the Jehovah Contract's background story. There is a lot of room for ST creativity, because it hasn't been fullywritten yet!

  • Sean's Players' Page has been updated with character descriptions of players' games, game session summaries, and links to valuable storyteller notes (especially Changeling).

  • Completely unrelated, but it came up in conversation at game, is the Blair Witch Project. The trailer is available at this server. It's... interesting.

Kindred of the East is currently accepting players!

If you are interested in playing, please drop a line to <>.

Player Sean Gomez maintains a useful players' page, with links to the Changling storyteller/player page.

You might wish to look at a very cool character sheet for Changeling: A Midsummer Nightmare.
