Struck from the Litanty of Blood
The History of The Force of Nature, as told by Hans, Corrupted Keeper of the Litany
Origin: first known in North America, mostly of Native American tribes
- Water: Inuit
- Fire: unknown, known to practice Shinto
- Earth: probable Navajo
- Wind: unknown
- Gaia: unknown, believed to be Lupine kinfolk
Known History
- Believed to have originated somewhere in the western Americas some stories say Peru, others say
Mexico. One legend says they came over the Bearing Straight land bridge from Asia.
- Aztec representational art of blood sacrifices to the gods seems to correspond to some patterns of
vampiric dominance or worship. Related?
- First active in Montreal around the time of European settlement (mid 1600's). Believed to have worked with
native Hurons and lupines to trap a Decani in the mountain resulting in the complete destruction of the
tribe. Disappeared immediately thereafter.
- Reappeared in the early 1700s, working against Camarilla incursions in the New World. Remained
continuously active throughout the Colonies for the rest of the century; they were notably active in
throwing off Ventrue control of the Colonies which became the United States. Their actions were added to the
Litany of Blood as they were joined to the Sabbat.
- After the War of 1812, the Force of Nature disappeared entirely, and were assumed destroyed.
- Reappeared during the 1960s. Began sweeping through cities in South America. Some, such as Buenos Ares,
had their Sabbat populace decimated. Others, such as Rio de Janeiro, were utterly destroyed including
large portions of the human population. The Inquisition investigated, learning that the destroyed had
infernal ties. Attempts to contact the Force of Nature failed, but word of their fatal judgments
spread. The Force of Nature became a symbol for the destruction of Infernalists: where they went,
Infernalists burned.
- In the 70s they arrived in Mexico city, destroying at least ten thousand Sabbat and hundreds of thousands
of Kine. The Camarilla took control of the city for a few years, before it was re-taken by the Sabbat.
- Meanwhile, a cell of Infernalists in New York learned that the Force of Nature itself had struck some sort
of deal with Infernal forces. Fearing the destructive wrath of the Force of Nature, they arranged for the
Inquisition to discover this. Shortly, the Inquisition declared the Force of Nature must be destroyed. The
Force of Nature has been hunted ever since.
- In the early 90s, the Force of Nature destroyed the Sabbat of Los Angeles, Denver, Detroit, New Orleans,
Miami, Atlanta, Richmond... and mysteriously disappeared. More curiously, they appeared to destroy all
Sabbat, Infernalist or no. Enraged, the Inquisition struck them from the Litany of Blood and called for a
Crusade... but their prey had disappeared.
